Rescue California Names Honorary Chairs

(SACRAMENTO): Rescue California today named several Honorary Chairs of the Rescue California-Recall Gray Davis committee. As Honorary Chairs, these community leaders will take an active role in the recall campaign. The following individuals were named today:

Senator Rico Oller – Northern California Assemblyman John Campbell – Southern California Assemblyman Ray Haynes – Inland Empire Audra Strickland –Ventura County Cristi Cristich – Orange County Elia Pirozzi – San Bernardino County Councilwoman Mimi Walters –Orange County Councilman Mark Leyes – Orange County

“These recall supporters have stepped to the plate and agreed to help us qualify this recall election,” said Dave Gilliard of Rescue California. ‘Each of them is going to play a central role in our efforts and we are very grateful to have them on board. Gilliard said that the Honorary Chairs would be asked to call radio talk shows, signs letters and attend news media events in their area.
