What makes Steve Soboroff unique?

He's a businessman who is active in the community - and as a troubleshooter for Mayor Riordan, Steve has volunteered his unique experience to help improve our quality of life in Los Angeles.

A local leader in Big Brothers, Steve has helped mentor kids in need of role models for over thirty years - and he's worked with L.A.'s Best to expand after-school activities that keep kids off the street.

As Parks & Recreation Commissioner, Steve Soboroff cleaned up our city parks so families and seniors can feel safe - and Steve established Neighborhood Park Advisory Boards to give local residents more control over park improvements.

After years of bureaucratic roadblocks, Steve cut through red-tape to make the Alameda Corridor a reality - and today construction has begun on the high-speed cargo rail line that will reduce truck traffic on our freeways.

From saving the L.A. Zoo to helping the homeless as a leader of the Weingart Center - Los Angeles magazine calls Steve Soboroff, "a big-hearted tough guy who takes a project by the horns and gets it done."

A problem solver, not a politician - Steve has earned the support of community, business and religious leaders from every corner of the city. They understand that as mayor, Steve Soboroff will bring people together and get results.

A successful businessman and respected leader in his synagogue, Steve Soboroff has come a long way from his days growing up in the Valley. But for Steve and his wife Patti, their five children ages 7 to 17 always come first.

Whatever the issue - fighting gangs, improving education, reducing traffic, cutting waste or keeping our economy strong - Steve Soboroff will be a citizen mayor who will work for the taxpayer and move Los Angeles forward.
