Police Protective League Director Says "Soboroff Is The Only Candidate That Actually Has A Plan To Make Los Angeles A Safe Place."

Don Lint, Director of the Los Angeles Police Protective League, said in an e-mail titled "PROFILES OF OUR MAYORAL CANDIDATES" sent to thousands of LAPD officers last week that Steve, "unlike anyone else running for the Mayor’s office, has a viable plan to make [the LAPD] the great Department that we were just a couple of years ago. "

In the e-mail, Lint gives a profile of each of the major Mayoral candidates.

He goes on to state that "Steve Soboroff is the only candidate that I have spoken with that actually has a plan to make Los Angeles a safe place to live and a place where being a Police Officer is a noble profession."

The e-mail continues, outlining Steve's 4-point plan to give "the rank and file Police Officers need support from management and the communities that they serve."
