MAYOR JIM HAHN ON TRANSPORTATION

Mayor Hahn is working to make it safer and easier for Los Angeles residents to get where they need to go. His comprehensive approach to reduce traffic includes large-scale projects and common sense improvements.

During his first term in office, Mayor Hahn fulfilled his pledge to fix the city’s 25 worst intersections every year. These projects were not only completed on time, they were completed under budget, reducing traffic for 1 million drivers every day. When the Street Smart program is completed, it will save Los Angeles drivers an estimated 15 million hours in traffic each year!
