MAYOR HAHN WELCOMES ENDORSEMENT OF STATE SENATOR JACK SCOTT

Mayor Jim Hahn today welcomed the endorsement of California State Senator Jack Scott. Scott is one of the Senate’s leading voices on public safety and education issues.
“I’ve known Mayor Hahn since he was a student of mine at Pepperdine University and I’m proud to support his re-election,” Scott said. “Los Angeles is a safer city today because of Mayor Hahn’s leadership in improving LAPD officer recruitment and re-establishing community policing practices. I believe Mayor Hahn’s re-election is crucial to reducing crime in Los Angeles.”
“I’m honored to have Senator Scott’s support,” Mayor Hahn said. “I will continue to work with him to improve police, fire and emergency services in our community.”
