U.S. SENATOR DIANNE FEINSTEIN JOINS HAHN TEAM AS HONORARY CAMPAIGN CHAIR

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Los Angeles – Mayor Jim Hahn today announced that U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein has joined his re-election campaign as Honorary Chair.

“I am very proud and honored that Senator Feinstein has agreed to serve as Honorary Chair of my campaign,” said Mayor Hahn. “Senator Feinstein is a true champion for the issues important to Los Angeles -- a safer city for our children, cleaner air and water for a healthier Los Angeles, and a better economy that provides opportunity for all. She has been a great friend and partner in our efforts to make Los Angeles a great place to live and work.”

“Mayor Hahn has delivered results for Los Angeles,” Senator Feinstein said. “Under his leadership, crime is down, Los Angeles has established the nation’s largest local housing trust fund, and thousands of local residents are getting involved in city issues through neighborhood councils. We have worked together on issues ranging from banning assault weapons to cracking down on film piracy to making sure Los Angeles gets its fair share of funding for homeland security. I want to continue this partnership and will be working to encourage others to support Mayor Hahn’s re-election.”

Senator Feinstein was first elected to the United States Senate in 1992, and previously served as Mayor of San Francisco.
