MAYOR HAHN WELCOMES ENDORSEMENT FROM STATE SENATOR KARNETTE

Mayor Jim Hahn today welcomed the endorsement of California State Senator Betty Karnette, a former middle school math teacher who represents San Pedro and neighboring communities.
“Mayor Hahn has been a long-time friend to the Harbor community,” said Senator Karnette. “He’s worked to reduce crime in our neighborhoods, give more students the opportunity to participate in quality after school programs, and bring new and exciting housing and business opportunities to the South Bay. He deserves another four years, and I’m happy to support his re-election.”
“I’m proud to have Senator Karnette’s endorsement,” said Mayor Hahn. “She and I have worked to improve the quality of life for our shared South Bay constituents, and I look forward to working with her for another four years.”
