NEW FRONTIER DEMOCRATIC CLUB ENDORSES JIM HAHN

Los Angeles City Attorney and candidate for Mayor of Los Angeles, Jim Hahn announced today that he has received the endorsement of the New Frontier Democratic club. The club, which is the oldest African American Democratic Club in the country, voted to endorse Hahn at their general membership meeting attended by over 200 members on Tuesday evening.

"Our club has known Jim Hahn for a long time and we are proud to support his campaign," said New Frontier Democratic Club President Bobbie Anderson.

"He has a proven record of working with communities and we know we can count on him to continue to do that as mayor."

"I am truly honored to have the endorsement of the New Frontier Democratic Club," said Hahn. "I am looking forward to working with club members to improve our city."

The New Frontier Democratic Club interviewed four candidates for mayor prior to making its endorsement.

"Our backing for all of the endorsed candidates, including Jim Hahn for Mayor, will be accompanied by a financial contribution and volunteer support from our club members," said New Frontiers First Vice President Barbara Boudreaux, who chairs the Political Action and Education Committee.
